Surely you remember about the August training of our employees, where we learned how to create 3D models based on photos. We mentioned then that we need this skill because we want to provide you with the opportunity to virtually visit one of our monuments.

Query in Warsaw and Wilanów
Since we already know how to create models of various objects, now we have to choose exhibits that will serve as a model! In addition to objects from our collections, the space that we will make available virtually will be enriched by exhibits from other Polish museums.

In order to search for items that we will be able to use as part of the project, several field trips have been planned. The first of them took place on September 22-23. Employees of our Museum went to Warsaw to search for monuments that will be transferred to virtual reality as 3D models. They conducted queries in the Royal Łazienki and the Museum of King Jan III's Palace in Wilanów.

The query took place as part of the project: "Conservation and restoration of the fourteenth-century castle in Lidzbark Warmiński - pearls of Gothic architecture in Poland - III stage" implemented from funds received from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway as part of EEA funds and funds from the Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sport and the Self-Government of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.

Together we work for a Europe that is green, competitive, and inclusive.
