The Warmia Castle/Museum in Lidzbark Warmiński was hosted today by the Association of the German Minority "Warmia" in Lidzbark Warmiński.
The participants of the meeting watched the film "Spoken Museum ‐ Their Voices" documenting the post-war years of Lidzbark Warmiński. Witnesses recalled their childhood and the times after 1945 with sentiment and nostalgia.
The meeting took place as part of the project: "Conservation and restoration of the fourteenth-century castle in Lidzbark Warmiński - pearls of Gothic architecture in Poland - iii stage" implemented from funds received from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway as part of EEA funds and funds from the Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sport and the Self-Government of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.
Together we work for a Europe that is green, competitive, and inclusive.
