The ceremonial signing of the contract for co-financing the project took place on 5 May 2014 in the Great Refectory of the Lidzbark Castle. On the part of the Museum of Warmia and Mazury, the contract was signed by the director Elżbieta Jelińska. The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage was represented by Piotr Żuchowski, Acting Secretary of State in the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
The signing of the agreement was also accompanied by the Marshal of the Voivodeship Jacek Protas, the Lidzbark Starosty Jan Harhaj and the Mayor of Lidzbark Warmiński – Artur Wajs.
There was an excellent opportunity to talk about the potential of the castle of the Warmian bishops in Lidzbark, summarize the revitalization so far and plans for the future.
