On Wednesday, May 18, 2011, the ceremonial completion of the project "Rescue conservation works of the cloisters of the Lidzbark Castle" took place at the Warmia Museum in Lidzbark Warmiński. As part of the project, the cloisters of the Lidzbark castle were subjected to conservation works, on which gothic wall polychromes depicting scenes with religious themes were discovered. Other activities included, m.in, work on the roof, facades, stone elements, replacement of installations.
Janusz Cygański - Director of the Museum of Warmia and Mazury, talked about the implementation of the entire project, and About the course of conservation works on wall paintings Mr. Marcin Kozarzewski - leader of the consortium that carried out conservation works.
