Commencement of works on the cloisters of Lidzbark

Work began on the cloisters of the Lidzbark castle. As part of the PL 0470 project "Rescue conservation works of the cloisters of the Lidzbarski Castle", two contracts were signed with contractors of construction and conservation works. The implementation of the project is possible thanks to the support provided by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through co-financing from the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area.

The contract with the contractor for the repair of the roof of the cloisters of the Lidzbarski Castle as part of the project "Rescue conservation works of the cloisters of the Lidzbarski Castle" was signed on 27.01.2010 at the Olsztyn castle. The contract, for the amount of PLN 199,702.37 gross, was signed by the Director of the Museum of Warmia and Mazury and Mr. Jerzy Skorłutowski, a representative of the Construction Company "SKORŁUTOWSKI" Spółka Jawna Jerzy and Ewa Skorłutowscy.
The contract for the conservation works of the cloisters of the Lidzbarski Castle as part of the implementation of the project "Rescue conservation works of the cloisters of the Lidzbarski Castle" was signed on 17.02.2010 by the Director of the Museum of Warmia and Mazury and Mr. Marcin Kozarzewski, a representative of the consortium consisting of MONUMENT SERVICE Marcin Kozarzewski, the STIUK Monument Conservation Studio, the Gorek RESTAURO Conservation and Restoration Studio. The contract was signed for the amount of PLN 3,601,838.06 gross.
